Today we’ll be storming France again. We’ll be playing at the 3 Elephants festival in a town called Laval. I never heard of any of the bands on the bill, but some of the names got my curiosity juices running already. I’m thinking of checking Jesus Christ Barbee Doll or Fanfare Le Snob.

Mark your calendars if y’all want to catch us somewhere in June – nuff biggies coming up. On the 21st we’ll be playing at Sonar by Day. It’s a nice slot, we’ll be on at 8pm and we’ll be sharing the stage with BBC1’s Gilles Peterson. Before lunch I suggest y’all check the Debilorithmicos – they’ll be playing at 12.  They’re family, they’re BCN homegrown and they’re vicious.

On the 25th we’ll be rocking the world renowned Montreal Jazz Festival. Everybody that’s ever made a nice dent in any of the live and left-of-center genres played there at some point. For us it’s an important one, since it’ll be the first time that we’ll play in Canada.

And then on the 30th we’ll dive into the positively insane world of Fusion. Never heard of it? Imagine an old Russian military airport turned into a small town built for freaks to inhale Electronic music for days. All Electronica genres are respected, the sound systems are amazing, the food is strictly vegetarian and the showers are a very very special experience. This is what festivals are supposed to be like.
